A Soler Eclipse

This deserves a second post for the day.

The Chicago Cubs have signed Cuban prospect(Notice the Cub in Cuban), Jorge Soler. Who is Jorge Soler and why are Cubs fans this excited?

First off, the deal is worth a reported $30 million bucks.

Secondly, he didn’t go to the Yankees.

So, Mr. Soler(That’s right, we’ll call him Mr. from now on; Welcome to the Big Leagues) is a very talented, hard hitting outfielder whom the Cubs are in desperate need of aquiring. He’s a big boy at 225 pounds. Although no MLB experience but he does have a .500 On Base percentage. That, my folks is how runs are scored. If they put him in the lineup behind Tony Campana–Bam! Well, you do the math.

Great job, Theo and Jed.

Looks like a great pick up for the Cubbies. Will he start out in the Minors, or is he heading right for Chi? Maybe we’ll get to see him play against the Tigers!
