Cubs Look To gain Ground On Cardinals

So here’s an interesting series coming up against the Brewers, but it’s a shame that the Cardinals are playing the Phillies. It’s almost like five steps forward and four steps back.

This is a great opportunity for the Cubs to gain ground on the Cardinals by taking this series against Milwaukee. The only problem?

It’s against Milwaukee.

They’re pretty bad and then again, so are the Phillies. The Cubs are 2 1/2 games back of the Redbirds and after this weekend, the chances of them gaining that momentum is probably zero.

Another thing I’m worried about is Lester. He’s due for a big game and it could come this weekend.  So, my prediction for today’s game is a huge win for the Cubs but most importantly, Jon Lester is going to return to form.

So what do you think about the DH in the National League? I’m not a fan of it, never have been and I would go out on a limb to say that if the DH never existed in the first place, there are certain players that never would have lasted in the majors and the the tabloids(which rhymes with another word).

Believe it

David Ortiz is not a HOFer. It’s a joke.

I’m on the fence with Ortiz. He’s good, but really? Wasn’t impressed last July 1 with his performance.
